Giving Tuesday & the Pike Place Market Foundation

Chukar Cherries is proud to be a top-tier Giving Tuesday Merchant Donor of the Pike Place Market Foundation, which is an organization near and dear to our hearts and to all Seattle residents.

Established in 1982, the Foundation has generated more than $36 million to provide housing, healthcare, healthy food, childcare, small business assistance, and a community of support to the Market region. Their work has been more important than ever in the last few years as Seattle's downtown has faced challenging times due to Covid and lack of tourism.

In response to the Foundation's efforts, more and more supporters have stepped forward and we are proud to be included as one of them. Each sale of our Seattle Souvenir Box at Pike generates a $2 donation to the Foundation. It is a simple gesture that adds up!

We are fortunate to have a great manager at our Pike Place Store: Jessica Baker. She is in great communication with the Foundation and she embraces the values of the Market, as does her team.
