Having products in stock is the new name of the game when it comes to being a successful retailer in 2021. As the supply chain proves to be continuously fickle and labor shortages persist, the holiday season is expected to be a rocky one.
However, here at Chukar are proud to announce that we are ready and fully stocked for the upcoming season! Sure, we are pros for the holidays after being in business for more than 30 years, but our real secret comes down to one thing: relying on local.
We've always been a company that valued the power of local. Some fun facts:
- All of our cherries, apples, and wine grapes are grown in the the Pacific Northwest and most of them come from within miles of our headquarters in Prosser, WA.
- Our product containers are sourced from US companies.
- All of the nuts we use in cherry nut mixes, with the exception of cashews because they don't grow in the US, come from California.
- We process, clean, dehydrate, cover in chocolate, and package all of our products right here in Prosser. We do not outsource any part of our production process.
- Some of our local employees have been with us for over 10 years!
So, while you shop online this year and notice new product categories that don't focus on any specific quality except that products are "ready to ship," you can rest assured that here at Chukar, all of products are in stock and on track to ship within 24 hours of placing your order.

A Peek Inside Chukar Cherries Holiday HQ
Just like industrious little elves, we are busy putting finishing touches on every last gift. Every ribbon is perfect. Every chocolate is put into chocolate cherry assortment boxes with care. As a customer told me the other day, "the chocolates are displayed in rows like little jewels. How delightful!"
We are making up warm, delicious batches of fresh chocolate with which to drench our chocolate covered cherries.
"Made fresh to ship fresh" is a motto we say a lot around here. We pride ourselves on making chocolate products within two weeks before shipping. This ensures a fantastic flavor experience for the recipient.
